Sugar Skull Art

In celebration of the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) holiday, we offer this fun Sugar Skull decorating workshop. You can creatively decorate your own pre-made sugar skull using royal icing, tiny embellishments and candies. Skulls are handmade from REAL sugar!

Materials include:

- One standard size sugar skull (real sugar)

- Royal icing

- Foil paper

- Sequins and icing flowers

All ages are welcome!

What is the Dia de los Muertos? 

It’s a beautiful Mexican holiday for family and friends to honor their dead with a series of sweet gifts, colorful alters and music. Color reflects life and Dia de los Muertos celebrates just that. Celebrations last October 31-November 2.
